Art Rationale

I'm sticking to the idea of making "The Toaster Oven" which is the mock game magazine that I am going to put together with articles from Hardtoast.com written by the four authors (including me).

I want to do it that way (putting the articles into one big magazine) because after writing a piece in video game journalism, the writer tries to get their work out there and put it out there, be it an online blog (which is harder to get noticed nowadays) or trying to get it published in a magazine. Since I am just doing this as a senior project, and am currently a freelance for no pay, this is a fun way to pretend that I got my name out there (well, besides me actually writing for a website).

The first impression is everything, and I am honestly going to try and make it simple, yet appealing, maybe on the cover having the headlining game or most recent article on the front. That all comes with time. The "wow" factor will be the fact that it is a magazine, able to be read and hopefully formatted exactly like one.

Apparent Effort/Practiced - I will make sure there are no errors in the writing and try my hardest to format it exactly like a magazine.
